Triantafyllos Gkouvas is a research fellow at the Centre for Law and Cosmopolitan Values. His main research foci lie at the intersection of legal theory and metaethics. He is currently working on a Ph.D. project on legal normativity under the supervision of Professor George Pavlakos. His doctoral research aims at making a plausible case for a normative theory of law that can equally accommodate questions of institutional design and moral legitimacy.
Triantafyllos holds a B.A. degree in Law and a LL.M. in Jurisprudence from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Since 2006 he is a licensed member at the Athens Bar Association. From 2008 to 2010 he worked as a teaching assistant at the Philosophy of Law Section of the Athens Faculty of Law.
